Mavic Pro Controller

Hi

Im new to this group.

My Mavic Pro controller got damage and wouldn't be repaired. I was thinking of buying a new one but was advice that the new one wouldn't be compatible with my Mavic Pro Drone. What are other option to take so I can use the drone again

you can buy a mavic pro remote and it will link to the drone just fine. just gotta be 100% sure the remote is for mavic pro. and not air, mavic 2 or any other mavic variant

It will link, but not automatically. You'd have to do a one time binding/pairing. It's in the manual.
Basically you press the pairing button on the AC, then in the app, select to bind/pair. Probably better to start the process with the app, then press button though.

The Mavic Pro remote controller model number is GL200A.

I have a Mavic Pro and hope I never need a controller. It is more than half of what I paid for my entire package: drone, controller, 3 batteries, charger to charge 3 batteries, 2 sets of regular props, 1 set of quiet props, full set of ND filters, extender legs, folding launching pad, attachment for 10" tablet, individual cases, and back pack.
Guess I got a good deal...

Not for a Mavic Pro you can't. The SC only works with the Mavic 2 Pro/zoom and the Air2. It will not work with the Mavic Pro, which is what this OP states he has.
