Yea, that's a stupid list.
In the world of diplomacy, some things are better left unsaid.
Yea, that's a stupid list.
Yes, I have dedicated and modified birds for distance runs. I try to keep a stock bird in my car for daily flying, I stopped using a checklist for daily flying after a while because at some point you just memorize everything. But a great idea when starting out.Do you use a "daily flier" and a dedicated distance AC or does one serve both purposes?
IMHO the pre-flight checklist is good I do most of it except for the calibration (compass, IMU or gimbal) unless an error message on startup.
Discipline and routine are not a bad thing. Nice checklist and countdown

That is a fair assessment, I am a stupid person and can't remember all those tasks and had to write them down. Thank you for the reminder.
That is true, now I remember after a couple crashes I was prompted to calibrate.I personally have not. I would think that physical disturbances (a crash or hard landings) would be more likely to impact it.
I have only calibrated my IMU once in 1 1/2 years, Gps rwice. No need if it does not ask. IMOI've found conflicting info on calibrating the IMU. Do you recommend this every time?

Nice list, thanks. The only thing I would add is to check the weather. I know that might be dumb just looking at a clear sky, but I use "UAV Forecast" App and love it. Thanks again for the great work.Mavic Pro Checklist:
