If it’s truly in the condition described, I’d say you’d be very happy with that drone. Very, very happy indeed. Incredibly capable, fun to fly - you’d love it.

It’s a few hundred dollars cheaper than the Air 2, so that’s a positive as well.

My opinion (which is worth what you paid for it; nothing!) would be to get the Mavic Pro. If for some reason you change your mind later, you should have no problem selling it and getting almost all your money back, too.

But I’d say start with the Mavic Pro. And if you can, use the extra dollars you would’ve spent on a Mavic Air to get an extra battery or two for the Mavic Pro. Believe me, you’re going to want more batteries.

I would ask him about but is a great deal if it’s never been crashed.
He might have just tryed it and saw flying wasn’t for him.

Make sure the battery cels are in good condition and get the number of charge cycles if you can. I bought an "unused, Open Box" MP on e bay. The batteries had not been properly maintained and were useless. Happily the seller made good on it.

At that price, I would have gone for the Mavic Pro If I had been given the opportunity. Make your own choice.

I bought a used mavic pro, and it has been a great drone. It takes both great pictures and videos.

Bear in mind lots of people (myself included) are having serious range issues with the MA2. Mine is still new, 8 flights so far in 3 different locations all in suburbia, and the best I have got is 600m before losing signal.

I have just got a ma2 had a Mavic pro zoom very impressed with ma2 no range issues had a fight about 1 mile out

I don't have range issues with my M2Z, after the latest firmware of July 7th this year, they matched output to the MA2 to 10Km or 6.2 miles, I wouldn't think of flying half that from before, so a "mile" out is cake for a M2 as well. It is my thought that they did so to match transmission protocol to enable the SC to work with the MA2 as well.
