Mavic pro storage

Any idea what the ideal storage conditions for the mavic pro are?

I like to think right side up in the Styrofoam that it came in. Gimball lock and bubble on, of course.. I don't know about carrying it upside down and stuff in a backback or even the case that came with my fly more combo... But I'm probably just being over protective..
