Mavic pro usb cable work with note 8

Looking to purchase a mavic pro and wanted to know if the usb cable that is included will work with the note 8? some people say it just charges and it will not work. If so, what other usb will work.

If your thinking about using the Cable that come with the Mavic Pro...........DON'T.!

Spend a couple of doll hairs and buy other/ better cable's.
There has been many of pilot's that have had problem with these DJI supplied cable.

This is whats great about DJI mavic pro Fail Safe Mode RTH
............and please remember just because you loose connection with your Samsung smart phone
doesn't mean you loose control of your mavic just look on the controller you will see it still connected.

But If you do loose control with Mavic and Controller by default " Loss of signal"
It will RTH
(Return to home)
**(provided you have set the home port and a few other basic setting and have not changed default setting)**

Cables that come with it ....Not so Good

Hi took my MPP out for its second flight with RC batt at 80% and drone batt at 85%. No problems until batt warning low on drone came up. Was at about 25m from Rth position and only about 3m in the air. Tried to bring drone back to Rth position manually but it would not respond so hit Rth and it went the other way and clipped a bush . Retrieved and checked it over and replaced 1 set of end damaged props, changed battery and did another flight. Had a no signal warning so hit Rth and it came home no problem. Noticed stick settings out on the stick so tried a calibration without success. Took it back to supplier who could not fix so changed out controller. Been too windy to try out.
Question; are previous video / camera settings retained in the DJI go4 app or stored in the controller processor or drone?
Sorry for lengthy post but a newbie and hope explanation is ok

Also have been using Samsung note 8 with a longer cable supplied by supplier but not a dji cable. No issues .
