I just recently got a Mavic two pro and of having a heckuva time getting the data from the Mavic to either an iPhone or an iMac any recommendations? I did buy a SD card reader for my iPhone and it still doesn’t work very well.

I would assume putting your SD card in a card reader on the iMac should work the same as a PC.

Open the folder on the SD card & transfer to computer.
That's all I do on the PC, cant remember the last time I turned my Mac on but will give it a go later and get back to you.

Gave up trying to get the Mac to read an SD card, used two different card readers and all that happens is the light on the readers flashes continually.
Its back to the PC for me and the Mac is back to being an ornament.

I just pull the card from the drone and put it in the card reader slot on my iMac. Works like a charm.

Thanks bwana did as you suggested, found Finder Preferences, external disks was already ticked.
Can only assume the stupid Mac doesn't like my card readers.

No it only has a CD drive in the side.
I have no idea what model it is and have no idea how to find out, I got it for helping someone out a few years ago, thought it was an opportunity to learn how to use a Mac but I don't like the OS so never really gave it a chance
All I know is it has El Capitan installed, probably a completely outdated Mac but it works on the odd occasion that it gets turned on.

Understand... the side loading CD slot was discontinued 7-8 years ago. Get a reader as you suggested.

If you open up the Image Capture app (it's in the utilities folder within the Applications folder) does the card show up there under Devices?
