We had to do an urgent rental video, and while shooting a thunderstorm started to roll in. By the time we initiated the landing sequence, fat drops already started to fall. The drone flew back to the home point (I was standing close to the original liftoff).
It went through all the normal hovering and lowering and at this stage the owner of the drone got worried about the time it took, although I told him this is normal. But he moved real close to the drone.
At about 15cm from the ground, the drone suddenly started to flew away, maintaining the low height.
I was able to stop it by pressing down on the control.
My argument was that one of us might have been too close to the drone, or the reflection of the rain might have caused confusion in the navigation of the drone?
