I'm new to the drone world, looking at the Mavic, I'm a little confused regarding max altitude. Does the drone max out at 400 ft above take off point or will it keep climbing. Will it be able to follow the terrain of a mountain and keep climbing. Thanks in advance.

The Mavic is capable of flying to 500 meters however depending where in the world you live there are hight guidelines that you really must follow. In the UK it is 400 feet above the point you launch your drone from.
