Hi Folks

Does anyone know of a brighter or better mounted led search light than the led below.
I've looked at the lumecube but they are a very low 1500 lumens

I have come across this 100W LED Modules
Its $99 and is 100w 11,000 lumens and runs off a 12v lipo approx 15 mins on a 3000mah lipo.
see brightness here :
Its 200g and 105mm x 60mm x 60mm.
Looking at tests on Youtube the mavic can lift approx 1100g.
To enable sensors to be used on the bottom i would attach it to the top on a 3m dual lock foam tray,
I would be using this for a short 10-15 minute search flight as i help my local fire crew and police voluntarily.
I've seen Mavic pilots use 2 x 3000mah lipo for 15000 feet long distance flights so i guess 200g for light and a 3000mah lipo 190g will be about same or` less weight.
however I've seen these powerstream batteries at 3000mah 3 volts at 23g (4 x 3000mah = 12v = 92g $5 each
CP series lithium manganese primary pouch cells High capacity (5mm), Thin (1 mm) to Ultrathin (0.5 mm) non-rechargeable Lithium Cells from GM Battery and PowerStream.
Let me know if anyone has any further info.
Regards
John

OK i just remembered the wife had one of the cheap amazon head flashlights in her car....so i robbed it....and butchered it to fit on my Mavic :D
It says on Amazon its 15000 lumens when all five cree LED'S are on, not sure if that's true but its very bright and it looks like it was meant for the Mavic.
It weighs 263g so nearly 1/5th of what a mavic can carry, so only equivalent of a single lipo battery mod so the Mavic should carry it with ease.
Lipo is 4000mah and strap fits perfect to avoid bottom sensors
I've attached the light part with 3M Dual lock so can be removed in seconds when not in use.
I'll post a photo of the brightness when it gets dark outside.
Here's some pictures.

Might want to look into some of the Fenix Headlamps. I have a couple with the HL60R Only advertises as 950 lumen or so but it is an honest measurement not one of these fake candlepower to lumen calculation or other funky stuff some manufacturers use..

It is also a much lower color temperature than many other high power lights. Thee means it is much easier to see things and doesn't was out greens and blues like lights in the above 5000 deg K ranges.

They also make flashlights that are higher power and very compact. Many of these run off the 18650 batteries that are lightweight and long lasting.
