Mechanical Shutter benefits?

What are the benefits of a mechanical shutter? I fly an Air2S. I’m curious about pros/cons (if any) of mechanical.

If the drone and the subject are still, there's not much difference.
But a rolling shutter doesn't expose the whole frame at the same time which makes for some weird distortion when the drone and/or the subject is moving.

The rolling shutter effect is often referred to as Jello. If you pan rapidly you will see straight vertical lines warp as the line is being scanned over time giving the object a similar look to Jello wobbling around. Within the domain of rolling shutter, the overall scan time of the sensor dictates how bad the effect is. Faster scan times produce less Jello.

I looked real quick on GooGoo and couldn't find the scan time for the Air 2 S but I did find it for the Mavic 2 Pro at 62ms which is a very slow scan time. Expect a lot of Jello with that bird.
