Meramec River flooding near St. Louis

Meramec River flooding
This river drains into the Mississippi just below St. Louis and this photo (using my M2P) was made during Sunday's (May 5) crest, at the town of Fenton, MO. There are still rain fronts moving through so its level will rise again. This is my first post to this excellent forum--thanks for hosting this!

Yikes... nobody is gonna be playing golf at Tapawingo for awhile.

How bad is the flooding along the Meramec further upstream at Meramec Caverns? The river flows pretty close to the parking lot for the Caverns, is the Caverns affected?

Yes, I remember the caverns flooded badly a few years ago. But there is no word that they are affected currently.
