Microsoft just announced a partnership with DJI, with a DJI SDK on Windows 10...

Look at that... Mavic Air on the stage.

They demoed the Air connected to a laptop running the SDK, streaming video to the laptop. For the Air, you run the code on the laptop, running the DJI Windows SDK. For production industrial applications, that code would run on the drone (the $3000+ models). AI was used to detect the anomaly on the pipeline in the demo. Was pretty cool.

They cannot even make computers that don’t want to slow your machine down by updating when your in the middle of something you need to get done quick!
