Midwest Flooding and impact on Wildlife

Short video showing flood waters in the midwest. Most of what you see is normally dry ground. Oak trees present in the video (most of them) are a good indicator of the flooded areas. The later half of the video is the wildlife, most of them stuck on an old garbage dump turned into a grassy hill. The fish and turtles are all on a side of the levee normally dry (other side is a man made canal), last time a flood like this was seen was 1993.

Interesting the deer were not scared. None raised their tails and show the white fur for a sign of danger. If you had moved fast probably would not have been the case though. That was neat to observe them without disturbing them.
