Migrate Air Batteries Between Different MAs

Probably a dumb question but ........ The battery has to be connected to the MA to get the firmware update so if you have two MAs and four batteries that are at the same firmware level, do you have to make sure the battery you are using was updated in that specific MA or can they be used in both MAs?

When you connect the battery and switch on provided you have an internet connection it will check the battery firmware level on start up and if an update is needed it will do it.
