Mini 2 problem connecting to assistant

I’ve searched old threads before posting, but I haven’t found one specific to the mini 2. I’ve downloaded the assistant for the mini 2 but cannot connect to it. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what was the solution?

That was my first step. I was attempting to help out another forum member, so I downloaded the mini 2 specific download to try it out before lending advice on how to use it. I had no other reason to download it other than to help someone else out. My computer does recognize it is once connected.

1. disconnect DJI Mini 2 from PC
2. power OFF the drone
3. power ON the drone, just right in the moment when you hear start chimes - connect USB cable
4. wait fir a few seconds - the drone will be available in assistant

But the only avaiable option in assistant is log export

It took me a few tries before I finally got DJI Assistant to see the drone.

Personally I don't think it was worth the effort given what you can do in Assistant at the moment.
