Mini 2 RC does not charge

Brand new mini 2, batteries charge, but controller won't charge.

First led blinks five times, then blinks twice fast. Has been on charge for 2 days. Tried using multiple cords (started off with the ones that came with mini and work for the battery pack).

Cannot do any update to fly drone until rc charges. Pretty frustrating.

What happens when you do the on sequence...one press then press and hold? Take DJI cord insert in, if nothing then rotate the USB-C 180° over...as in flip it. What Charger are you using, you don't say if you have the fly more?

Have the fly more. Battery bank charges fine. Tried for couple hours charging from that. Couple hours on my Pixel phone charger. Overnight on just the dji cord.

Blinks up to the full bar then steady blinks just the first led. Opposite effect when turn off.

Defective remote unfortunately, contact DJI for replacement. Should full charge in around 4 hours. If you got it local or other than DJI contact them for a send back and replacement will be much faster.
