Weird battery charging issues

Thanks, that's useful to know. Funnily enough, the new battery arrived today. I just tested it in the charging hub (with the other 2 batteries in it too) about an hour ago and all good now

Thanks yes glad it’s sorted. That was a slightly frustrating start to my latest foray into drones (owned a couple of P3’s about 10 years ago).
I can’t fault DJI customer service though. They sent the replacement battery out pretty quickly.

Bummer about the faulty battery, but -on the upside- you gained lots of know how! One more caveat... avoid charging any battery that is still warm/hot. Really shortens the batteries' lifespan. Now that you have fully working 'good one's you're more likely to rotate each equally, and while cool.

Any methoh to cool batteries down faster?

Don't let them get so hot in the first place. Avoid flying in excessive ambient heat and land well before 10% remaining battery. Pushing batteries completely to exhaustion builds up lots of heat and stresses the battery.

Other than that, putting them in front of a fan in a cooler environment will cool them faster.
