I have a mini3 pro, with the fly more kit, in the last few days i noticed, when i charge the battery's instead of the lowest level charging and that stopping and moving to the next battery, the battery led, just flashes across and does not stop at all does not start at 2 lights etc etc, , when i put the battery in the drone it shows 100% but it means i can charge only one battery at a time, this happens with all 3 batteries, I guess it could be the charging hub ?? any advice would be great thanks and have a good christmas and safe flying in 2025, i took an image of the rc2 screen showing the voltage etc etc with the battery in the drone, if these numbers are ok

Don't have an answer for you, but the charging logic should be charge most full to least, not the other way around as you describe above.

All my mini charging hubs have worked this way. The reasoning is it gets you a full battery the fastest.

Ah ok i had it the wrong way around

My intuition said the same thing... you charge the emptiest first, just "feels" right. So when I noticed it going the other way, I thought what a bunch of idiots, someone screwed up.

Then I thought about it some more, and revised my "who's the idiot" conclusion... 🤣

An alternative is get a better charger than the lame DJI one. I use the Hanatora: fast charges 2 in parallel; saves space in the case; gives a clearer status on SOC. I have 3 batteries so I simultaneously either fly or charge the 3rd battery in the drone. To get the fastest charger rate, it requires a PD (power delivery) or PPS USB-C charger that supports 9V x 5A which by coincidence is the same as the 45W Samsung Superfast Charging.

You really can fly continuously on 3 batteries this way. Works in the car or from a power bank as long as they support the correct voltage. Good luck!

@tlyons I've got the same one, now used for M4P. Love it, well worth the money. Includes a mode to charge to 60% storage, which I use regularly.

I would second the Hanatora recommendation. I have them for numerous models and keep them plugged in at home all the time. I leave the DJI hubs in the hard case with the drone/controller/spare props/etc. When I get back I can charge three or four at a time (depends on model) until all are recharged. I don't normally take them into the field, unless it's an actual travel engagement.

One more comment about batteries in general: I've been using rechargeable equipment for decades and the one thing that seems to prolong service life is to let batteries cool down significantly before recharging. Even just 10-15 minutes makes a big difference in the relative toll on the battery's chemistry/integrity.
