Mini 3 PRO compass calibration error

Hello,
My mini 3 pro is constantly going into compass calibration mode on its own. I did have a crash but with no visible parts broken. However, the imu needs to be calibrated as well, but I'm unable to do that because it goes into compass calibration mode as soon as I move it. When i try to manually do a compass calibration the calibrate button on my controller does nothing. i tried different controllers, but the same thing happens. Where is the compass located on a mini 3 pro? can it be replaced?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

is there an error "AIRCRAFT MISSING PARTS" indicating on the system prompt?

You need to open your Drone (bye-bye warranty) and check your cables to see if any were dislodged in the crash,,,,Thats step one if its not dislodged let me know...We can fix it!

Yes, the front sensors don't appear to be working. i'm learning that the compass gizma is on that ribbon cable as well, is that correct?

Yes, I checked that but I will check again. I'm also figuring out that the front sensor is disconnected or damaged and that the compass is on there. Also, i tore the inside wrap by mistake when i pulled the bottom cover off; what is that and will it affect anything? It was not a actual wire cable ribbon, but more like a wrap. I love fixing stuff and sometimes get myself in trouble! Almost as fun as flying!

Maybe not as long as you didnt tear a wire or cable..
The very first step you need to do is find a good tear down video on youtube and watch the whole thing TWICE! BEFORE you do anything else..You don't wanna do anything that will cost you even more (especially these days).

Yea, i thought about that after i took it apart. Hindsight is always better than foresight! And yes, replacement parts aren't cheap! Do you know where to get new front sensors w/cable? I've seen some used ones on ebay but i would prefer new ones.

Ali express has new cables. Anything you get already attached to the vision sensors will probably be used. My opinion is that used stuff is more likely to work because it’s been tested. If you replace the sensors you’ll have to recalibrate them with DJI assistant 2 consumer.
