I'm concerned about all the accounts of signal loss. So made sure to watch the signal for this flight so I know what I am working with... 1km south then 1km north.

Control range varies with location, due to different 'interference' at each location. So you get in one area may not be reached in another.

From my experience the DJI RC / Mini 3 combo is more sensitive to direction and interference than say a Mavic 3 and RC Pro controller is,
