Shortly after the Mini 3 Pro was given goggles compatibility someone managed to get theirs to work with the Goggles 2 and their DJI RC controller (ie the one with the built in screen) rather than using the motion controller or the sticks controller as used with the Avata 1 (not sure what its official name is). While it wasn't officially supported by DJI it did actually allow use of the goggles and controller together.

Does anyone know if it's still possible to fly the Mini3 Pro with goggles and the DJI RC? I'm concerned that firmware updates since that time may have closed that "loophole".

Thanks for the reply, however the link goes to a video featuring the mini 4 pro, and the goggles 3. The hardware I'm interested in is the mini 3 pro, goggles 2 and the "DJI RC" controller. Officially when using the goggles with the mini3pro the motion controller should be used, but as shown in the video below, the DJI RC can be tricked into working as the controller.

My question is whether, over a year later, if firmware updates for the hardware have closed this "hack"?
