Recently my Mini 4 Pro purchased in April this year has developed a problem. The RC 2 remote fails to connect to the Mini 4 drone. If left for several hours it will connect but subsequent connections fail after that. I have tried all kinds of ways to connect and even a factory reset but the problem persists. Yesterday I contacted the main DJI service centre in Madrid and was told to send the remote and drone to them at my own expense. I was then told that the DJI Care Refresh Plan which cost me €85 covered only the drone and not the RC 2 remote so any repairs to the RC 2 remote would have to be paid for!?! This was new to me as I thought the remote would be covered as well?
Fortunately and I repeat fortunately I bought the Mini 4 through Amazon (€100 discount plus warranty) so I contacted them. Their reply was “no problem” send the Mini 4 to us (a prepaid return slip was provided) and we will sort it out within 20 days! Don’t you just love Amazon!
