Hi,

I need help figuring out what’s wrong with my drone before I send it in for repair. I usually fix things on my own with tutorials, so I’m not afraid of disassembling my drone, but I need some clues about what could be wrong.
My drone crashed into a very tall tree about 5 months ago. I couldn’t locate the exact tree, and since they were so tall, I gave up after a month of checking the location every other day, just occasionally passing by with some hope. Eventually, I accepted losing the drone and moved on.
Yesterday, I got a call from the lost and found office, someone had found my drone! It must have fallen from the tree at some point and spent over 5 months exposed to wind, rain, mud, cold, and lying in wet leaves. I didn’t have much hope that it would still work. And I was partly right. To my surprise, the battery was intact. The drone was dirty but in decent condition, with only a little broken plastic in some places. It even powered on, and the camera worked and recorded video (though it’s missing the front and back covers, so I can see the cables on the back).
The only major issue I’ve encountered is with the gimbal. It doesn’t move, and I get a “gimbal error” message.
The gimbal is also very shaky, it doesn’t hold its position and keeps drifting back to face downward after I move it. (Although I’m not 100% sure, maybe it’s supposed to do that? Please correct me if I’m wrong.) It will stay in position for a while, then slowly tilt down again.
It doesn’t respond to any commands from the controller; it just points down no matter what I do.

So, what parts should I order? Just the gimbal cable, or more than that?
