hello my friends so after loosing gps due to the gps spoofing and jamming in my country i had a little drift in my mavic mini 4 pro and it hit a palm tree and fell
when i recovered it a few seconds later i thouth it was all good sintce the arms and the motors where doing well
i checke the gimbal and it was rotating fine but to my surprise i had no picture
so i reboot the drone and get the following errors in the pic and now i cant have any picture nor start the motors i opened the drone looking for any broken flat cable or part but couldnt find on the board and all i can say is that the board overheats
if someone can help me ill be really glad since those who fic dji drones here are so busy ill have to wait a whole month or 2 and i have work

To be honest I doubt anyone can help fix that lot other than a repair shop or DJI but we will have to wait and see.

BTW can you delete the reference to Mavic mini, the mavic part was dropped from the name with the advent of the Mini 2 and it might cause some intital confusion.

The board WILL overheat if you power the drone on for long and don't start the motors-Don't do that!! lol
Sorry but you have a drone that needs to be sent to DJI or the Repair table.
I can say if it was a hard crash with the tree then it flaked off some solder somewhere.

The first thing to do is get hold of some magnifying glasses and carefully inspect all of the cable/board connections between the main board and the IMU board, then the same with the gimbal and camera cables. One or more of the micro plugs MAY have popped loose enough to sever the electrical connection without having popped off completely.

But this little bird has quite a lot wrong with it. It looks like it requires a proper diagnostic assessment and repair.

From what I read, worst case scenario: I reckon the GPS/IMU board isn't functioning and the gimbal/camera may need replacing. Not cheap.

You might be able to DIY replace the GPS/IMU board, but a new/different camera and gimbal require more specialist software tools to get them to work with your drones main board.

Do you think buying a new one is better then ? If this repair will cost 3 or 400 dollars

Looks like a trip to the repair shop is in order.

My genuine opinion? If you don't know your way round the guts of a drone, you are better off getting a reliable estimate as to the cost of a repair before you decide to buy a new drone. An estimate won't cost you anything and afterwards it's your choice whether you let the repair provider proceed. If the estimate weighs in at OVER half the cost of a new replacement: keep the original as a source of spares and start from scratch with another drone.

Fingers crossed it's a couple of things that are simple and cheap.
