Mini 5 Pro: What all that know…knows so far.

I live in Canada and have the Mavic 4 Pro and I' wondering if the new Mini 5 will be available in the USA? This tariff situation and USA security issues may drag on for a long time.

It will suffer the same fate as the Mavic 4 pro,no release in the US. In fact congress is ignoring dJI completely right now to get an audit done.So a part of the plan to ignore DJI until Dec. 23rd when they would be banned in the US,which right now looks like that will probably happen.

I'm really interested to see what DJI has on tap for the next generation of mini drones. The M3P is great, it's by far my most flown drone ... very convenient to haul around and setup.

A 360 mini drone to try and compete with Antigravity.

My concerns as well.

Im in the USA and hoping DJI can sell to us or maybe a reseller. If anybody knows a reseller...let me know for the Mini 5 pro.

I wonder if the Pro 2 controller can be used on this drone. No word yet if it is Occusycn4+.

I read you can get DJI Refresh, but you have to ship it back to HK.

If this drone is like any previous drones, it may not have Pro 2 controller compatibility on day 1 but a fast follower.
We have seen leaked images of the M5P packages containing the RC2 and the RC-N3.
The latest leaked specs indicate:

• Transmission O4+ · up to 20 km (FCC)

My understanding is if you wish to buy DJI Refresh from the HK region then you will need an HK address.

Same here in Canada, but I have no plans to buy one. It will be interesting to see pricing of the different packages. It will also be interesting to see if the pro controller (RC Pro 2) will be offered in one of the packages.

Hope everyone who wants one gets one. I settled for an Air 3s and am enjoying that. Pricing will be interesting to see if the possibility of lost US sales will increase pricing for other countries.

Not going to matter with me, I have the RC Pro 2 and so I will want to buy the base Mini 5 Pro so 1) I can have a backup remote for both the M5P and the M4P and 2) There are some phone applications that I cannot use with the smart controller so it would be nice to have an RC that uses the iPhone.

This is going to be perfect for me, I don't have to wait forever for the drone-only sku that might not ever come. I don't plan to buy on day 1 but later if the M5P refurbs start up, even better.

I am going to buy it (from Toronto). I already placed a pre-order last week.

I am in the same boat and eager to pick one up. However, I do not think it will be available in the US of A.
