Mini SD Card Insert Oooops

Card arrived today and I tried to insert it and got it halfway, no further in and it didn't want to come out!!
I tried find some info on the DJI Mavic Pro P instructions- no luck other than where the slot is and size of card recommended. No

Finally got it out and turned in over so the contacts are up and --- in it goes. Seems like there should be a picture or diagram.

If you look at the little picture of the sd card beside the slot it will show you which way the card goes in as there''s a notch on one corner, they're not entirely rectangular. Usually devices with sd cards slots with have a similar symbol to show you which way the card goes in.

Also just try one way but very gently and if it stops half way then flip it over. Don't try and force it in if it stops.

I looked for a diagram but only saw wht I thought was a dji. Should have used a magnifier I guess

I put my glasses on and low and behold all is well.

Yep. Seems to be upside down to me as well.

The graphic is a bit strange because it's half-an-SD card ... But it does show that the terminals should be upwards, and the hook-tab should be to the left.

You aren’t the only one that made that mistake, I often have to stop and think about it before inserting the card as well.

Learn from the mistakes of others, you may even live longer for it!

Is that true for the mini? I don't have mine near me to check, but I'm pretty certain the contacts face down (with the label up) on mine.

Just checked. Go figure....contacts down on my MM. Small diagram with card to the right of slot. Contacts up on my MA. Enjoy your flying.
