I planned 5 waypoint missions last night on my DJI RC2 controller. Got out in the field today to run them and mission's were empty, said I had no history of past waypoint missions. I did update the DJI Fly App before flying today, could that be the reason there missing. I've never run into this problem before. Anyone ever had something like this happen? Thanks for any help guys!

I had the same issue after updating my RC2 as well. I know the update allows for waypoints to be stored in the cloud now so you can access them from other controllers. Was wondering if that’s where my waypoints ended up? Haven’t looked into it.

DJI firmware updates do sporadically force certain settings to reset to default, so I'm not surprised to read that the same process probably 'tatered saved 'missions'.

Gain / expo on my Air 3s remained unaltered but I have heard from several forums that the Neos didn’t

There appears to be some Waypoint bug in the Mavic 4 Pro update for the RC 2, which was never intended for United States RC 2 owners to install, because the update ONLY added Mavic 4 Pro compatibility, but DJI has no present plans to sell the Mavic 4 Pro in the U.S..

The Cloud storing of Waypoints intended for everywhere else was disabled in the United States, but the app may not know that!

same. "lost" all of my 25 waypoints after update.
RC Pro
Maybe they are now, in fact, in the Cloud, but we simply cannot access them, until DJI let's United States access the Cloud. The update clearly did not anticipate this DJi restriction.

Yup, Updated, and checked right away and they are gone.
That explains it. The update transfers them to the Cloud. However, since you are in Canada, not the U.S., you should still have access to them in the Cloud. Call DJI for how to access them in the Cloud. Hopefully, the transfer process didn’t just delete them, without first uploading them!

Just got off the phone with DJI, and this helped me (Mavic 3 Classic, RC-N1 w/iPad) - Go to the Fly App home screen, profile-settings, and log out of the DJI account. Now go to the fly screen, tap waypoints, then the little icon to see saved missions, and all the missions should be there. Then click a mission to open it. In the upper left corner of the screen, in a red box, it should say something like "not logged into account"; click that to log in. With the waypoint mission still active, save the mission. It will now appear in the saved area when logged in. Do this for each mission (log out, call up the mission, log back in, save it).

Obviously this is not a long term solution, especially for someone with many missions. The tech person said in the new update, this would be fixed (maybe that's the 1.17.1 mentioned above?).
