DJI Mini 5 has something called MODEL VERSION that has a check for update. What is this? Never seen that before on a drone. This is separate from Check Firmware and Fly Database

Looks like the software build will not only download automatically but also install automatically so theoretically you should be able to complete your software update while you fly in a wi-fi environment? Remember the "cooling fans" we used to employ to make sure our Mini 3/4 drones didn't overheat while updating?

The Model Update option has also appeared for me on the RC2 that I use with the Mavic 4 Pro when DJI Fly changed to version 18.0. The slider was ON by default.

Oh, brilliant! Now they can mess things up without you telling them they can mess things up.
I’d much rather give permission for individual updates and know to look out for changes in an app or drone’s performance than have them change something in the background and find that something doesn’t work they way it used to just when I need it most! That setting will stay OFF!
