Modifying RC-N1 for more power

could I take one of thos TV signal boosters that sit on top of a TV and connect the wires up and stuff and get slightly stronger signal or longer range?
Better to simply fly from a higher elevation. Compatible, amplified external antennas will help, but upgrading to OS4+ on an Air 3 or Mini 4 Pro will be far better.

If the TV amplifier operates on either the 5.8GHz or the 2.4GHz frequency then there is a remote possibility that it could be rigged up to boost the power of the RC-N1 transmitter. Even if the frequencies do match, it will take considerable electronic tech experience to actualize this idea.

At the frequencies involved, even a fraction of an inch in error has significant impact on resonate frequency and SWR (not to mention directivity). If you don't already know this, please leave it alone. It'll save you money.
And everyone, please stop with the speculations on power levels. We all know the marketing spin. Perform actual measurements with the proper equipment if you really need to know, on both controller and the drone
Then factor in all the variables and you quickly become aware of what little gains you get for the money spent.
