MOTO G5 crashing every flight

a real pain as crashes every flight 3 or 4 times

been told this is common with android phones ?? is there anyway of getting round this or am i best to get something like ipad mini 3 or 4 or even change phones and get iphone 6 or 7 ?

any thoughts plz

Crashes all the time on my ZTE Axon. I finally broke down and got an iPad Mini 2 just to fly and it's been rock solid so far.

Well to be honest im thinking of getting a ipad mini 2 , 3 or 4 just for mavic as i really dont want to change my phone as i like it , i just wish it didnt crash all the time grrrrrr

So, today I was flying with the latest iOS app and had the iPad loose connection to the controller several times. Unplugging and then reconnecting the controller fixed the problem, but it took over a minute to re-establish my view. Very disturbing, but fortunately I wasn't shooting anything important at the time (just flying around a friend's house).
