Motor noise

Not sure if it was more noticeable because it was late and not much noise but noticed it sounded a bit more metallic sounding. My memory is shot so can’t remember what it sounded like. Will look up some mavic pro videos.

Going to be hard to pick up in videos.
Probably best shot is to find a nearby forum member with same M1P setup, running same props OEM 8330 or 8331 platinum props, and have a comparison in real time.

If you have a 'duff' motor, you may be able to detect which one is different by simply hand-turning the motor shells with your fingers. These don't spin free but you can feel the magnets that are mounted on the rotating shell, give a 'blip' of resistance as they pass the fixed coil-windings. Apart from those 'blips' as you rotate the shells, you should not feel anything else. If you do have some foreign obstruction in the motor - or a bearing problem, you'll feel that as an additional 'vibration' as the shells are turned.

I wonder if you can tell by checking a flight log dat file ?
There may be something visible under analysis between the motors.
