Air 1 Mount Charleston Nevada

Early November at Mount Charleston Nevada which is located about 45 minutes north of Las Vegas. It is still almost 80 degrees in the city, but a chance here to see some snow in the mountains.

Good flight ....and a nice piece of straight road.
The Eyre Highway across Australia's Nullarbor (means treeless) Plain includes a stretch called the "90-Mile Straight."

There is a stretch of road somewhat like that outside of Vegas headed north. It may be about 5-10 miles and people love to "test" how fast their vehicles will go on it as no place for LEO's to hide.
