Charleston Peak, also known as Mount Charleston, is located in the Spring Mountains of Nevada, about 35 miles northwest of Las Vegas. It is the highest peak in the Spring Mountains and Clark County, standing at 11,918 feet (3,633 meters) tall.

One can begin driving from a warm Las Vegas and within 30 minutes be driving through snow-covered roads near Charleston Peak.
