MPP vs MP controller, are they interchangeable?

Can someone confirm if the Mavic Pro Platinum and Mavic Pro remotes are interchangeable.
A friend called DJI and they said no, but I find that hard to believe.

Does anyone know for sure?

Yes, they are interchangeable (and identical).

Thanks. I couldnt believe DJI would tell him that. I guess their support group leaves quite a bit to be desired (to say the least).

This doesn't surprise me at all. Most customer service reps really know very little about their own products. This sort of thing has happened to me more times than I can recall.
