Had to be really careful of birds, had a group of little suckers surrounding the Air at one stage and setting off the distance sensors. The Galah's and Cockatoo's at one place were thick! Being massive, I steered well clear of them.

I know what you mean about the ‘Flamin Galahs’, as Alf would say. Have had quite a few encounters with them.

Yeah the galah's can be a pain for sure.
The water level at these points are fairly well regulated, however 10 or so years ago the level did drop quite a bit and Lake Alexandrina down at the mouth dried up.
