Well, I’m thinking this will be my setup for a while. It’s no CS or anything but it’s the best I could do on a budget... I managed to snag a 128GB iPad Mini 4 LTE for <$300 and then I picked up a 168MM hood on Amazon for around $16 and I’m using a double right angle, 6” cable that I hacked out of one of those keychain type adapters that I bought at Fry’s for like $10. I put a TP glass screen protector on the iPad mini and that ran me another $10 as well as I put it all in the thinnest TPU case I could find for another $10. So, all in all I’m in for around ~$350 for my flying monitor solution. Not too bad I think...
I'd love to see some other folks setups and maybe a price paid breakdown. It'd be nice to some alternatives. I thought about trying to pick up one of the Huawei media pads, but I couldn't pass up the iPad deal I snagged.
