Flying sideways with 3X zoom in sport mode . Didn't realize I'd passed over the shore till it was too late

Oh man. Yeah you have to be very careful with those types of flights. Were you able to recover the drone?

Yes , landed to the side of a narrow road between two high walled properties. Apart from the broken props , not a scratch on it. I think it righted itself just before it hit the ground.

Hind sight is a wonderful thing but having the map display showing might have been a good thing.

Post the log and it might show the crash and landing.
