Located in the eastern Acadian Province of New Brunswick, in Canada, Pokeshaw Island has served as a meeting placed for thousands of years. Enjoyed mostly year round. It has a viewing deck across from it to enjoy the sights and sounds. Enjoy this medium paced drone tour of Pokeshaw Island. The top of the island, for the first time, is recorded in super high 4K resolution with a DJI Mini 3 Pro drone.

nice video! Perfect pace! You showed me everything, different angles, close up, all around, relationship to mainland, ... everything. But it's STILL mysterious! Why are all the trees dead? What is the white stuff? Ice? Limestone? What are those round balls of twigs all over the top? Nicely done but so many questions???

White is ice. Round balls are nests. Legends say pirate treasure was buried up there during the winter when the water would freeze and cover with feet of snow it made it easy to get on the island with a ladder in the winter. This area, this specific area, was one of the first explored and settled in Canada, by famed captain Nicholas Denys in the 1600s.

Did you find the treasure?
The real treasure was the friends we made along the way. Also. No. No treasure found. Maybe get a magnometer to hang from a drone and some type of metal detecting rig.
