Today I used the djiair2s ND filters for the first time. There was a partial solar eclipse in Ireland and I took 4 of them on top of each other in my hand and observed the 40% "bite" at 11:00 GMT. It was a very nice view 
At first I tried the darkest filter alone but it was not enough so I kept adding them one by one until I got dark enough vista...
The last TOTAL eclipse of the Sun in Ireland was in 1724 and the next will be in 2090. I would be over 130 years old by then
