Mini 3 Neave Island, Skerray Bay, Sutherland

Skerray Bay and Neave island, just off the NC 500, the island used to house solitary monks in the sea caves, and seals are usually present, but not today! We had an early run in with an Oystercatcher, which meant I kept the altitude high to deter ongoing attacks, although I also saw a huge predatory bird, Sea or Golden Eagle over the island, so didnt venture too far over as I didnt want to attract it over.

Nice views of the Orkney Isles as you rise above Neave Island on a clear day...

Only the fleeting glance in the video, at 2.01 to 2.10 in the top left hand corner, about 1/2 mile distance from the drone... Saw a White Tailed Sea Eagle from the ferry near the Hoy Cliffs on the way back from Orkney, but camera was in the car, and the phone pics are terrible..

Also got to sea Harriers on Orkney, as well as Tern, Barn Owl, Oystercatchers, Shag's, Cormorant, Heron and plenty more besides, and heard Cuckoo as well
