New Air 2 owner question

Just got a refurbished Air 2 Fly more combo that looks brand new. Can someone tell me what was the last firmware number before RID was added? My drone scanner app doesn't see the drone when it's flown so I assume it's older firmware in the drone. Thank you!

v01.01.1600 turned on the Air 2 RID. I would just hook everything up to the assistant 2 and let it update.
It could also be the app.

I don't think he wants it to broadcast RID, so that would be a very bad idea.
If he does want it to, that's the solution.

Assuming Post #2 is correct, yes.
Any FW before the one that activates RID is golden.

Just be aware ( I dont know how they would find out or check ) In the U.S. your DJI must at least be updated to the firmware that turns RID on to be legal to fly.

That is not true. You also have the option of attaching an external RID module which does not update the pilot’s location during the flight.
