Finally did my apps ( new go4 update 4.3.20 today) and firmware update for aircraft today, all went smooth!
Didnt even have to ‘re-hack’ it to fcc mode.
Fcc was intact even firmware update.

Did fly some today with my Air, no issues after 620 fw. FCC "hack" was still there, no need to use fake location app again.

Just updated my MA from .500 to .620.

Will test flight tomorrow.

Just to share, I always perform below method when upgrading to a new firmware:


FIRMWARE UPGRADE & SENSOR CALIBRATION SAFETY PROCEDURE by ZEAL

Procedures to do before & after firmware upgrade, perform the ff.

Using DJI Assistant 2 App,
1) Perform Reset Factory Reset before firmware upgrade.
2) Perform Firmware Upgrade/ Update/ Refresh.
3) Perform Reset Factory Reset after firmware upgrade.
4) Calibrate Vision System/ Sensors

Using DJi Go 4 App,
5) Calibrate IMU (indoor/ outdoor as long as there's an available FLAT surface)
6) Calibrate Remote Controller
7) Perform Auto Calibration of Gimbal
6) Calibrate Compass (must be outside)

For sensor-related error prompts, try to do steps 3 to 6.

I just upgrade my birds and im done with it. I have had no issues on neither my Spark, Air or Mavic 2.

Is there any known issues by not do factory resets and calibrations before/after FW updates?

Hi all!

Good day!

Just done w/ the 1st test flight after updgrading to .620.

Test scenario:
- Altitude 50 meters.
- 1st: Hover in place; 2nd: took video while doing slow 360 degree video recording in place; 3rd: various forward, back & side movements.

Observations:
- Initially observe some jerky movements (auto yaw to left only) even no actual movement on the left joystick. That jerky movement gone after couple of minutes.
- CE to FCC mode is still working.
- the rest are all seems to be normal.

Will do further flights this weekend & observations.

I still managed to hack into fcc mode but with difficulty. When the dron application is turned on, it is recognized that it is now in America and asks if it changes from the EC to the FCC. When you press OK and enter the application you see that you are still in the EC mode . I was persistent, I spent the entire battery and eventually accepted the switch to the FCC mode.

you confirmed several times? How was it possible?
