i just looked at my mavic air 2 and noticed there is a new firmware update available to be downloaded should i do this up date and is it any good? please advise.
i have the 1.1.6 app.

Yes and also just got a notice of a new Fly update .
Is already to many threads started for me to close all but
one but let’s try and search guys and not start new threads
with existing ones already started.

Mine updated without a hitch. All new features available within the app.

yeah mine updated fine too no problems.sure wasn't this easy to update the phantom a few years ago.

Just put your battery in the drone and it will tell you on your screen

Yes, it will prompt you with an "inconsistent firmware found" message. "Do you want to update now?"
