So, I've been looking to dip my toe in the drone game for a while, and was thinking of getting a Spark. Once I saw that the recent Target sale came and went, I've been watching craigslist/offerup/letgo to see if I can find a good price on one. Low and behold, I found a great deal on a Mavic Pro with a bag, extra batteries, control, chargers, cables, etc...
Anyway, I put in an offer that was accepted, and it's going to be here later this week. I'd like to check it out and make sure there's nothing wrong with it (seller says there definitely isn't), so I've been watching some of the DJI instructional/welcome videos to try to learn the ins and outs. Any recommendations on things to check to make sure I'm getting good hardware? I'm not exactly sure where to start on that front.
I thought I'd try to take it out for a quick, short test flight, as that would tell me if it flies and if the camera works, but being in MN, I'm running into a problem. The highs at the end of the week will be 21, 12, 8, 8, 22 (all in F. -6, -11, -14, -13, -6 C) over the span of days I think I should be getting it. I've read that flying in that type of cold is at best not ideal, and at worst a no no, at least for someone who isn't likely to be super prepared for it.
I've got 2 days from when I get it to make sure there's nothing wrong before the sale is finalized. Any tips/help/advice anyone is willing to offer would be much appreciated. Thanks!
