New guy in NE Illinois/Arkansas

Hello everybody! Never flew anything before except wire-controlled model airplanes about 50 years ago. Been reading the forum here and decided to jump in. Just ordered an Air 2 - will get it next week. Looking forward to a new hobby! I'm currently in NE Illinois (NOT Chicago!) but will be retiring to AR in a couple years - we have a house on 18 acres waiting for us. I already have an idea to replace the back of the mailbox with plexiglass so I can fly down to see if the mail came!

Thanks to all for the greetings! I've already learned a lot from the forum and that there's a lot more to learn. But I imagine it's like the old expression, practice makes perfect... This next week of waiting for delivery is going to be rough!
