New iPad Mini 4 will not connect to controller

I got tired of having the Go4 app crash on me and not getting updates for Android, so I bought an iPad Mini 4. It came with 11.0.2 pre-installed. I downloaded the Go4 app, but it will not connect. I've tried 3 cables, there's nothing plugged into the charging port of the controller. What gives?

Try :

1- turn on the RC
2- start the app
3- turn on the drone

Maybe it will work with schematic

I tried this multiple times.

Where do you get to in the process of connecting, to the front screen with picture of the mavic, when the icon in the bottom left is "disconnected".

Can you still enter the mini but get a blank screen with the app overlays? Can you go into the "about" section and check for updates, make sure the mini is connected to home wi-fi

You should also be on DJI Go4 version 4.1.12

Solved:

I did a search and found that a complete reset of the iPad using iTunes could fix the problem. It was the only thing that worked. I hope this helps somebody else.
