Just got the mavic 3 pro cine from b&h, so I did some tests, and the image quality is...leaving something to be desired. It was quite bright outside, so the fstop was 11, iso 400, 24mm hassalblad, recorded in ProRes 422HQ, 1/250 shutter. Fkyover of building and some trees. Brought into resolve, simple color space transform from dlogm, and the image is quite blurry.
I know the sensor on all con/prosumer level drones are pretty small, but this is pretty bad, which is exactly what I was trying to escape from my mini 4 pro. Can anyone report on this?

f5.6 to f8 will give you the sharpest image, but I don't think using f11 would make it that noticeably blurry.
can you share some example footage?

As Riptide said, f11 is past the optimal aperture if best sharpness is your goal. I believe that between f4 to f5.6 is the sweet spot. But the video is quite soft out of the camera at best of times and requires sharpening to make it look sharp and crisp. The other possible reason for soft footage can be AF if the footage is uniformly soft across the frame. But if only half of the frame is soft you can have decentered or optically flawed lens. So there a few areas to look at but from my own experience M3P is capable of producing sharp and crisp looking videos when processed the right way.
