Hey guys and gals,

I'm in a quandary and need your advice.

I own a Mavic 3 Cine and a Mini 3 Pro. Sadly it seems the Mavic 3 Cine is not going to be any help in my photogrammetry quest but the MM3Pro could be useful ... but there are issues.

My research leads me to favour Dronelink but the Mini3Pro comes with the smart RC (built in screen) and that does not allow the installation of external software (AFAIK) but the Mavic 3C comes with the RC Pro that can take software installs.

So...can I use/bind my Mavic's RC Pro with my Mini 3 Pro and use it on both drones? Any potential issues?

Is it a simple process?

Many thanks in advance.

Paul

Update your RC Pro to make sure the Mini 3 Pro is a selectable drone from the main RC Pro menu, if it isn't already there, and you should be good to go after selecting it. It is not a problem to use the RC Pro with both drones. Just select the appropriate one from the main menu, and go through the re-pairing process, if necessary, with the drone.

Hi GadgetGuy,

Well blow me down with a feather! And thanks.

That worked. Very easy process to connect the Mini 3 Pro to the Mavic's controller but I did have a few palpatations when trying to re-connect it back to the Mavic 3. You are offered 3 choices (Mavic 3 Pro, Mavic 3 Classic and Mavic 3)....I thought the Cine was Pro but it's not. Then I tried Classic, also failed to pair but eventually the last, Mavic 3, worked well. Phew!

One question to add though. After the successful Mini3 connection I got the message seen in the image below....not sure how to react to that though?
