New Mavic, latest firmware but...

My first flights with my new Mavic: Why can I not get past 23 MPH? Late today I flew in about 12 MPH wind gusts and I almost could not get back! It feels like the forward/reverse power is limited...

I also have a Phantom 3 Pro. Never seen that kind of issue. It goes 35MPH even pushing wind.

Is there some kind of setting I am missing?

Did you try sport mode? Should go 40+ in sport mode. Also wouldn't hurt giving the manual a few reads.

Are you in beginner mode? This will restrict your flight performance.

Check your option to see if its in beginner mode, also if you find your mav is struggling to get home you can put it in sport mode for more power. Be very careful flying with the wind because when you turn back around the wind might be so strong its very hard to get back home.
