New Mavic Mini Pilot from Vienna

Hi, I am a new Mavic Mini pilot, I own it since one month. My previous drone was a DJI Spark, but I got a very good offer for the Mini fly more combo and so I switches to the Mini. It‘s really great, but the Spark was a lot better in windy conditions, thats for me the only disadvantage. I compared both, and decided to stay with the Mini because of the flytime, better Wifi connection (CE mode, because I live in Europe) and the 3 axis gimbal. I never used active track or tapfly on my Spark and because of that i do not miss it on my Mini.
I am not a professionall, i is only my hobby.

Welcome mate! I am new as well and planning to get a mini soon. Since I live in Malaysia it will be CE version. Tell me what's the range you have gone so far ?

My best range was 900m at 2.4GHz and 700m at 5.8GHz, but I have to test it once again, because of the weather conditions. But to be honest, I checked my flight log files (DJI Spark and DJI Mini) and my best photo or footage shots are taken at 30-60m height and my maximum distance was 350m. For the shots I do, it is not necessary to fly that far away like more than 500m. I know a lot of people are interested how far a drone can fly without losing video connection, but if you check the range test videos you will see how boring the videos are. I get really nervous when the drone is out of sight and you will notice how long the 11 seconds can be when you lose the connection to the remote
